Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue and River Cleanup
The Atlanta Chapter will be cleaning up the Powers Island to Paces Mill unit of the Chattahoochee River for a “Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue” event on August 25 , 2012.  The National Park Services is providing 8 canoes on a first come-first serve basis to chapter members. You can also walk or wade at the Paces Mill location. You can also bring your own canoe, kayak, or SUP (no fins recommended).  There will be a post-event celebration with free wine and food. Additional details will be posted later.
